A candle bouquet, which some people call a flower candle bouquet or simply a bouquet of candles, is a group of candles shaped like flowers and wrapped the way a florist wraps roses. You give it the way you would give flowers. The difference is that it does not die. Real flowers look lovely for three days and then go in the bin. A candle bouquet sits on a table for months, and when she is ready, she can light it.
I am Sobia, and I make these by hand in Lahore. This guide explains what a candle bouquet is, the three sizes we make, what each one costs, and which one suits which occasion.
Why women choose candles instead of flowers
Flowers are still the first thing most of us think of. They are also the thing that is thrown away by Friday.
A candle bouquet does the same job at the moment of giving. It looks full and soft, and it is wrapped the same way. But it stays. Some customers tell me the person never lit it at all and just kept it on a shelf. That is fine too. A gift someone refuses to burn is a gift that worked.
The three kinds we make
We make three, and they are very different things.
The Single Stem Candle Bouquet is one flower candle, wrapped and finished as a small bouquet. It holds 18 grams of wax and burns for about three hours. At Rs. 260 it is a light gift. Think of a place setting at a mehndi, or something you hand each guest at a bridal shower. It is a gesture rather than a centrepiece.
The Mini Candle Bouquet sits in the middle. It is a compact arrangement of flower candles set in a small pot, so it stands on a table without a vase. It holds 300 grams of wax and burns for around 50 hours. At Rs. 995 it is the one to choose when you want something that looks like a real gift but is not a centrepiece. A birthday, a thank you, or a housewarming.
The Signature Candle Bouquet is the full arrangement and the largest piece we make. It holds 990 grams of wax across all the candles in it, and around 150 hours of burning between them. At Rs. 2,950 it is meant for the occasions where a small gift will not do. A wedding, an anniversary, a big birthday. Something she will keep.
Which one to pick for your occasion
For wedding and mehndi tables, where you need forty or eighty of the same thing, the single stem works, and so do our plainer flower candles. A Daisy Flower Candle at Rs. 100 is the simplest way to put something handmade at every seat. A Peony Flower Candle at Rs. 320 is a step up, with 80 grams of wax and about 15 hours of burning.
For one important gift, choose the Signature Bouquet. An anniversary, a mother’s birthday, or a thank you to someone who did a great deal for you. If that is more than you need, the Mini Candle Bouquet at Rs. 995 is the same idea in a smaller pot.
For a table piece that keeps its shape as it burns, a Flower Pillar Candle at Rs. 450 holds 200 grams and burns for about 32 hours, with the floral detail pressed into the sides.

One more thing, and it is the part nobody says out loud. The biggest bouquet is not always the right one. A gift much grander than the occasion can leave someone feeling they owe you something, which is the opposite of what you wanted. Match the size to the relationship rather than to how much you like the person. A guest at a table gets a single stem. A friend, a colleague or a new home gets the Mini. Family, a wedding or a milestone gets the Signature.
Making it personal
Every bouquet is made to order, so it can be customised for the person you are giving it to. All three come in ten colours: black, blue, brown, green, orange, pink, purple, red, white and yellow. The fragrances are blueberry, iced coffee latte, jasmine, lavender, motia, pink paris, rose and VIP.
If you cannot decide, choose Our Choice for the colour and Surprise Me for the scent, and we will put together something that suits the occasion. Many customers do this, and it is not a lesser option.
What actually arrives
Every bouquet is made by hand, one flower at a time, so no two are ever exactly the same. That is the honest answer to the question most people are too polite to ask. The photos on our pages are real pieces we have made, not stock images, but yours will have its own small differences.
If an exact colour matters, because it has to match a theme or a room, message us before you order. Gift orders are wrapped and packed ready to give.
So here is what we do about that. Before your bouquet leaves us, we send you a photograph of the actual piece we have made for you. Not the picture from the website, yours. If anything is not as you ordered it, you tell us and we put it right before it goes anywhere near a courier. You will never find out what you bought at the same moment the person you are giving it to does.
We stay on WhatsApp with you the whole way through, from your first message to the day it arrives, so there is always someone to ask.
How to order
Tell us the date first. For bulk custom orders we need seven to ten days, and in wedding season those days fill up quickly.
For a single bouquet, orders are sent out within one to two working days and usually arrive in two to five, depending on your city. Lahore is often quicker. If your bouquet is customised we will confirm the timing with you before it is sent, and you will get a tracking number on WhatsApp once it is on its way.
Mention your colour and fragrance at checkout. For anything custom, or for a large number of pieces, message us and we will confirm what is possible before you pay. Either way you will see a photograph of your finished bouquet before we send it.
Questions we are asked
Will it look exactly like the photo?
It will be the same design in the colours you choose, but not identical. These are handmade, so every one varies a little. You will not have to guess, though: we send you a photograph of your finished bouquet before it is dispatched, so you see exactly what is coming. If it has to match something precisely, tell us before you order.
How long does a candle bouquet last?
Unlit, it keeps for years. Store it away from sunlight and heat so the colour stays true. Once lit, a single stem gives about three hours, the Mini around 50 hours, and the Signature around 150 hours across all its candles.
Can I choose the colour and the scent?
Yes, both. Ten colours and eight fragrances, or let us choose for you.
What does a candle bouquet cost in Pakistan?
Ours run from Rs. 260 for a single stem, through Rs. 995 for the Mini, to Rs. 2,950 for the full Signature arrangement. Prices elsewhere vary a lot, so check the wax weight before you compare two candles on price alone. Our guide to what candles cost in Pakistan explains how to work that out.
Do you deliver outside Lahore?
